An AGMAX flail mower offers an effective solution for controlling excessive growth. AGMAX flail mowers, also known as mulching mowers or mulchers, are designed to mow and shred concurrently. The shredded material acts as an effective mulch, retarding regrowth, while providing a medium that will better release nutrients into the soil.
A key benefit of a flail mower is fire prevention. A tractor slasher can cut 6 foot overgrown grass in most circumstances; however, the cut material will be left ostensibly intact. Once it dries in the sun, it becomes a potential source of fuel for bushfires.
